Happy Bidding
Payment must be received within two (2) days of the close of auction. We reserve the option to revoke the auction and file a Non-Paying Bidder alert if the payment is not received within seven (7) days. If the item is a collect item or you have opted to collect you will have to collect within seven (7) days of the close of auction. If you do not collect within seven (7) days we reserve the right to resell the item in your name. We will extend that time period if you communicate with us and let us know a firm date of collection. Please note that the item fee will have to be paid in full before collection.
Shipping
We use a variety of carriers
We Post Every Day Monday To Friday except Bank Holidays or any other days there is no postal collection
Royal Mail, Parcel Force, DHL are just a few, we try to choose the best courier for your items where possible
For large items that are normally collection only, arrangements can sometimes be made for you to use your own shipping Co

If an item is returned to Poppletons due to the buyer not being present at the time of attempted delivery, the buyer will then again have to pay for the item to be shipped back. Poppletons will not be responsible to cover this cost. Re-shipment charges will be that of the original postage and package charge
Insurance - we strongly advise and is available upon request, we do not accept responsibility for items that go missing in the post but do keep proof of posting and tracking numbers where available
Postal and courier charges for items sent to outside the UK are often quite high. Unfortunately that is out of our control. If you are not happy with the Shipping Fees please do not bid on the auction as we cannot lower the fees. We are also not responsible for any customs fees that you may incur.
Combined Purchases.
We combine orders for items which were bought within seven (7) days. We cannot combine more than three (3) items for one shipment. Any breakable items or those items containing a "liquid" which could cause seepage will be shipped individually. Weight and size of the box also plays a part in combined shipping. Please do not assume combined packaging, please contact us before bidding.
COLLECTIONS
Items must be collected within 7 days of the auction ending, or otherwise by arrangement. Failure to collect an item, could result in our issuing a credit less our ebay and other fees plus an administration charge of £10.00. In some instances this could be more than the item you have bid for, we do not offer storage facilities and cannot hold items for an indefinate period of time, also the item becomes your responsibility once the Auction ends, and should the item become lost, stolen or broken after 7 days this will be your responsibility.
Our collection facility is FREE at the moment please help us keep it that way.
POSTAGE TIMES
We dispatch all items within 5 days, more often within 24 to 48 hours, much depends on levels of business, Public Holidays etc. If you need an item urgently do enquire and if we can, we will confirm and send as agreed.
Terms Of Sale
We do our utmost to describe and photographs items as accurately as possible, and whilst we have knowledge of many items, we are not professional appraisers, if you are in any doubt about the value of an item you are either buying or selling you should make independent research or take professional advice, we are not responsible for any errors or omissions.
Occasionally we must end an item early either due to an error in the listing, discovery of a fault in the item, the item has been lost or broken or any other event that may effect the sale of an item.
Measurements are given for guidance only and whilst we try to be as accurate as possible they are approximate.
Occasionally we can make typographical errors, if for any reason you are unsure as to the accuracy of a statement do please ask and we shall try to either change the listing, post our mistake where possible, in any serious circumstance we would attempt to remove the listing.
When you bid or agree to purchase an item it becomes a legally binding contract, payment is required within 48 hours or notification of how payment is being made must be agreed between us, if we do not receive payment within 7 days of your either agreeing to purchase or you are the winner bidder, we reserve the right to re-list holding you responsible for our abortive costs
We do our best to present accurate, detailed information about every item we sell. We might from time add to the description or add further information by answering a question and attaching the information on the bottom of the listing; if the new information preceeds a bid it is part of the listing. We describe in the listing what if any testing we have done on the item. If we cannot test an item we might quote the owner on the item's condition. We will not be able to accept a return of the item if any functionality not tested is not working properly or is not safe to use. We will also take no responsibility for statements by the owner, you will therefore not be able to rely on it. All items are sold as-is. If the description or photos do not show an accessory or a component of the item we do not have it. Please feel free to ask any questions during the auction you might have and we will attempt to answer them in time; however, once the auction is over we will not answer questions under any circumstances. Please remember that your winning bid constitutes a binding and enforceable contract, please do not bid if you are uncertain in any way.
We can only accept returns if the item varies significantly from its description in the auction. Buyers must return the item within fourteen (14) days and are responsible for return shipping charges. At our discretion we might accept a buyer to rescind from a bid, in those cases we will charge a processing fee of the higher of £10 or 5% of the final value price. Please email us before your bid if you have any questions.
Poppletons liability to you or any third parties under any circumstances is limited to the sale price and PP charge of the relevant goods. We will not be responsible for damaged or lost shipments. Please consider insurance, especially for more valuable items. If you are outside the European Community you might be liable to pay custom duties. Returns
If you have an issue with an item you have purchased from Poppletons, please contact us immediately. We can only accept returns with previous agreement, returns without agreement will not be accepted
