Rare 12” Vintage 1920's Schuco Yes/No Emperor Penguin
Description:
Very rare vintage Schuco Yes/No Penguin. Black and white short mohair; straw stuffed body; red felt beak and scarf; orange felt feet; swivel head with yes/no action; black tin shoe-button eyes with felt back; internal spring-type crier on belly. Unmarked, but known to be made by Schuco, circa. 1920/30's.
Dimensions:
12 inches (30 cm) tall.
Condition:
White plush is yellowed from age and somewhat worn here and there with a stitching on left wing and belly (see picture #4.) Crier is not working. Otherwise, fine to very fine overall condition.
Note: This charming and desirable Penguin is free of odors and comes from a non-smoking and pet-free home.
