(ABOUT GRANDMA - SHE LOVED DOLLS, SHE COLLECTED THEM, SAVED AND REFURBISHED THEM, MADE AND CROCHET CLOTHES FOR THEM, AND GAVE AWAY TOO MANY TO COUNT! SHE COLLECTED THINGS TO MAKE CLOTHES FOR THEM - SUCH AS THE HANDKERCHIEFS,BEADS, AND COSTUME JEWELRY - SHE NEVER THOUGHT ANY DOLL WAS BEYOND RESTORING TO A TREASURE TO LOVE AND BE LOVED! WE HAVE INHERITED MANY OF HER DOLLS AND ACCESSORIES, AND GIVEN AWAY EVEN MORE. SHE TOOK UP CROCHET WHEN HER VISION WAS NOT GOOD ENOUGH FOR FINE STITCHERY, AND HER PROJECTS BECAME MORE SIMPLE AND THE YARN HEAVIER, AS SHE AGED. WE ARE DOING OUR BEST TO SORT AND PRESENT SOME OF THE DOLLS FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION, IN A WAY SHE WOULD APPRECIATE. GRANDMA WOULD HAVE SAID CHARLOTTE WAS JUST LIKE THE REST OF HER GRANDCHILDREN, GET THEM ALL DRESSED UP PRETTY AND TELL THEM TO STAY CLEAN - LOOK WHAT HAPPENS! MUDDY SHOES!)
