In production from 1936 to 1960, Nancy Ann Storybook Dolls may have been the first dolls to come out as a "collectible series." Nancy Ann Abbott worked as an actress in Hollywood, and then began to design dresses for actresses to wear while filming movies. The Nancy Ann Dressed Dolls Company was created as a result in 1936.
Kept in large glass display case. Never played with, mint condition with original clothing. Painted shoes and socks, all bisque...only some aging to clothing condition.
