Description:
As an artist myself, I prefer using the best quality products for my creations. I am pleased to offer what I believe are the finest artist/crafter supplies available. I use these products myself and have been extrememly happy with the performance.
This is a MUST HAVE for applying metal leaf. You apply it where you want the leaf to go, then let it set until it turns clear. Apply the metal leaf and gently press down. I have used this adhesive on wooden candle sticks, polymer clay docorative pieces and brass filigree. I've turned ordinary things into gorgeous things.
Metal Leaf Adhesive (brush on) is a water based sizing. It becomes tacky in 15 to 60 minutes depending on the weather conditions.
Specifically designed for metal leafing, it will stay tacky up to 48 hours. Although designed for leafing it can be used for many other craft home decor projects. It cleans up with soap and water.
This adhesive can be applied to most any surface. Give porous surfaces a top coat of sealer before applying for better adhesion.
