Being an OOAK artist myself, I appreciate your need to have just the right size and shape for your next OOAK. I know it would be important for me to see what exactly I am getting. With this thought in mind, I took the effort to make a photo of each and every manzanita piece. The picture shows EXACTLY the piece (or pieces) of wood offered in this listing.
Please see the ruler and the scale reading to estimate the size and the weight of this particular piece.
This group of manzanita includes finished pieces. They were cut flat on the bottom and sanded smooth (will not rock or wobble), then we went over them with a dental pick and painstakingly cleared the bark and debries out of all the intricate openings, holes, cavities, cracks, nooks and crannies. Finally, the pieces were double-dipped into wood lacquer which seals the wood, brings out the natural rich deep brown red manzanita colors and makes a smooth finish on the top of the flat pieces. Each piece is One Of A Kind - just as your future sculpture it will beautifully support and display.
