Vintage Colonial Lady Paper Dolls With Clothes Uncut 1949
From a February 1949 edition of Jack and Jill magazine, paper dolls with clothing, uncut and still in the magazine. This edition featured a “Colonial Lady” paper doll with an unusual feature. The pages contain a pattern which was to be placed on colorful paper and could be used to make multiple garments. The patterns on the page are for a dress, a jacket, and a hat. The page also includes accessories that could be cut out and pasted on to the garments that were made. The paper doll pages also included a description of the clothing of the American Colonial period. On the preceding page is an article entitled “Colonial Dressmaker Doll”. The paper doll pages are in good condition and are still in the center of the magazine, but have pulled loose. The magazine is in good condition with minimal writing, one torn page.
We will have several items like this up for auction. We will combine shipping whenever we can. Thanks for looking!
