THIS AUCTION IS FOR A SET OF TWO MARIAN YU AFRICAN AMERICAN BISQUE PORCELAIN HAND PAINTED COLLECTOR DOLLS; MINT, STILL IN THE ORIGINAL BOX; OPRAH GERALD!!! THEY WERE PURCHASED IN 1990 BY MY MOTHER BUT NEVER REMOVED FROM THE BOX. ORIGINAL PRICE PAID WAS $98.50.
BOTH DOLLS STAND 16" HIGH. THE OPRAH DOLL IS DRESSED IN A BROWN STRIPED JUMPER WITH CRINOLINE AND BLOOMERS UNDERNEATH WITH A RED FLOWERED SHIRT AND BOWS IN HER HAIR TO MATCH. SHE ALSO IS WEARING BLACK MARY JANES WITH WHITE ANKLETS. SHE IS HOLDING A TWINE JUMP ROPE.
GERALD IS DRESSED IN BROWN OVERALLS WITH A BROWN PLAID SHIRT AND BLACK BOOTS WITH WHITE SOCKS, A HAT TO MATCH THE OVERALLS AND HE HAS A SKATEBOARD. THEY ARE BOTH ADORABLE.
INSURANCE FOR THIS ITEM IS REQUIRED @ $2.60.
