NEW, OLD STOCKPLATINUM BLOND DOLL WIG
Up for auction is a glamorous "new, old stock" doll wig. The wig is still in the original cellophane package, but has no labels. The bag can be opened from the bottom, so I was able to get a photo of it for you without tearing open the package.
I'm helping my father liquidate all the stock that was left from the Doll Hospital my mother had from the 1960's until her passing a few years ago. I have no way of knowing how old this wig is, but it was part of the inventory & has never been used.
This is a beautiful platinum blond with with the ends curled up, I'm not sure if the front is designed to be cut into bangs after the wig is in place, of the curls are supposed to go all the way around. I'm not sure of the size, but it measures about 4 inches in circumferance at the bottom edge of the cap. The foundation of the wig is a stretchy netting, onto which the wig is sewn.
This would be perfect on a fashion doll or a little girl doll.
